About the Game

This is my first mostly finished game made while learning the Godot Engine. It’s a small, clicker resource-management game about bees, honey, and trying to be as efficient as possible.

How It Works

  • Collect flowers

  • Upgrade hives to improve production

  • Exchange honey for more bees and increase output

  • Buy more hives and keep expanding

  • Reach 666 kg of honey to win and set your best time

My current best time is 26:59:00 — can you beat it?

Cute! Nice and simple, I like the idea and the length is good. Bit unclear if the amount of flowers affects anything other than how many flowers are available to click. Funny to think the beekeeper is making honey out of flowers all by themselves until the first bees show up :'D

Thanks for playing :)
Each flower type adds different amount of honey to jar. Amount is now visible next to the progrss bar eatch time you collect a flower.

This game is satisfying and great. Codey the robot appreciates how you are willing to save the bees from extinction!

Bees deserve love!

it starts without a bee..

Yes, you need to collect flowers to get honey first and then you can spend it to get the first bee.

yes, i have seen that mechanic many times before.

didnt need an explanation. i was suggesting its bad game mechanic.

it is so pointless to the game. why not just let me wait 5 minutes.. would feel the same.

sorry, im so harsh sounding, but its important for a good game.

im sure the game is fun once it gets going. i dont know.

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate hearing different opinions

I understand your point, but the slower start is intentional — as you said, a lot of games do this. I don’t see it as a bad mechanic; it’s meant to ease players in and not overwhelm them. After manual clicking, the first automation upgrade is meant to feel like a small milestone.
